Spill tray / Leakage Container

At Tankcon we have an increase in enquiries for onside storage of classified liquid in tank containers. Our customers often have to deal with local regulations demanding for a solution in case of a product spillage. The leakage container or spill tray is the ideal solution to such local requirements and can be supplied separately but also as a package including the ideal tank container. Tankcon can provide the transportation of both the tank container as well as the leakage container. Even a truck with a crane is a possibility we can offer.

The position of the tank container as shown on the picture is ideal:

• the product will leak into the spill tray, which can be discharged via the bottom valve of the spill tray.
• The connections of the tank are accessible in case there is a need to pump the product into another, not leaking tank container.
• The tank container remains free from the leaking product, this avoids an expensive cleaning and contamination of the insulation material.

When height is a restriction it is possible to place the tank container inside the spilltray. For a dedicated solution we can order any size of the spill tray, as standard sizes we can supply 2 capacities:

• 37.000 liters which will be big enough for a standard ISO tank container, overwide tank containers and swap body tank containers.
• 24.000 liters which is built for ISO tank containers up to 24.000 liter nominal capacity.
