With over a decade of tank container experience, founder and CEO Cihangir Pekkan started Tankcon in 2012. Driven by ambition and a strong sense of customer service, the company quickly grew into an international player in the tank container industry, offering complete tank container services to customers all around the world.
From trade to build and beyond
Tankcon was established in 2012, trading in used tank containers. What started out as a one-man operation, quickly evolved. Within a few years of trading used tank containers, extra services such as tank container maintenance and refurbishment were added to the offering.
Following continued and growing demand, the company expanded and ventured into tank rental and leasing. The growing team moved into a new office in 2016 – conveniently located near the Port of Rotterdam.
